When I came to NYC, I didn't know a single person. I wasn't a runaway, but it didn't feel much different."

from a second conversation with Brian James

Brian James grew up outside Philadelphia. He lived in New York City for a long time, watching the boats go up and down the Hudson River from his balcony. Brian now lives in upstate New York where he continues to writes books. He is the author of the novels Pure Sunshine; Dirty Liar; Perfect World; Tomorrow, Maybe; Thief; Zombie Blondes; The Heights; and the forthcoming Life is But a Dream. He is still eagerly awaiting the day Rock Stars take over the world. For better or worse.
