Brian James is amazing. For someone who isn't a teenager any
longer, he
sure has their mentalities down. The story is the same story
that any
teenager who has felt, or witnessed how drugs change people
would tell. It also perfectly outlines the trapped feeling someone
gets before they
resort to drugs, that dreadful feeling that everything is going
to be the 'same, same, same' forever. Can't wait to read Tomorrow,
Maybe.

The first book I read about drugs was Pure Sunshine. The
three friends
represent every 16 year old who interfaces with drugs. This
story is so
truthful, about two normal days in a teenagers life. Brian
James is a
wonderful author who puts real life so understandable and
easily on paper.

This book was different. I loved how he wrote, not like he
was a drug
addict, just like he was having fun. At the same time you
also learned a lesson from the story.

This book had some good things to say about life, and doing
what you want. As well as an in-depth romantic way of how
Brendon feels about Melissa. But the trips as they were described
were neither to descriptive to make you feel like you were
on acid, nor make you never want to take it.

I love this book. I have read it at least 5 times, every
time I read it I catch something I didn't before. Pure Sunshine
shows how far peoples
limits can be pushed, and how deep a friendship can get. This
is one of my all time favorite books.

I loved this book. It was very detailed and the teenage characters
in it acted like real teenagers. They spit and cussed and
did drugs, broke the law... it was very real. Very smooth
and ran together well. I loved it.
