An avid reader of PUSH books, I must admit that this is one
of my
favorites. I shall try to be as biased as humanly possible:
Martyn Pig isn't exactly your average kid, out looking for mischief
on a Saturday night or scanning the newspaper for movie times
from his comfy suburban home. He's had it rough. I just happen
to fall under the "very sheltered" category of growing
up, so I must emphasize my pride and triumph in relating to
Martyn, the main character... Or perhaps I should extend my
gratitude to the author, who portrays Martyn as such a strange,
destitute hero. A beautiful book, if my interpretations are
correct.
