I must say that this book is one of the best pieces of
writing I have ever had the pleasure of holding in my hands.
Homophobia is my enemy, and "Lucky" by Eddie de Oliveira
is my hero. As you may have noticed, I am definitely all about
gay rights and gay pride, and this book put a smile on my face.
To put it simply: this book is a must read. It made me feel
like I wasn't so alone after all. It made me feel as if someone
out there cares, and every single person deserves to feel like
that, no matter race, gender, or sexuality. This book isn't
just about bisexuality. It is about life, and every obstacle.
It is about love and hate, and everything that comes between
the two extremes. And I know that I've said it once, but I will
say it again: this work of art is beautiful.

I thought Lucky was a very interesting book. It really makes
the reader think about their own feelings about members of
the same or opposite sex. I believe that this novel can give
any homophobe the knowledge they need to eventually accept
bisexuals, gays, and "un-straights."
