This book is a poignant and compelling read. It gives a voice
to a problem invisible in society. Patricia McCormick portrays
life in a residential treatment facility accurately, as well
as the problems faced due to the anorexia, drug abuse, and self-mutilation
the patients have. Although some may not agree, due to dissenting
opinions over the subject matter, I believe this is a book many
could enjoy.

I give Cut an 8 1/2 out of 10 stars, I own it and am reading
it for my
second time. I loved it because Patricia McCormick brought
a very dull
setting and character and somehow made it a book you can't
set down! A
beautiful piece, I can't wait to read more of her work.

This is one of the best books I have ever read! It was very
moving and
opened my eyes to see the danger of what some of my friends
were doing to themselves because they thought it was cool.
I think that this book should be read by every teenager. It's
a book to
make people look at themselves in a good way and not in a
bad way. This
would totally open people's eyes up and prove to them how
terrible some of the things that they are doing to themselves
can be.
